Argentina's Tax Revenue soars despite Tax cuts

Despite the elimination and reduction of several taxes by President Milei, in February 2025 the Argentine Tax Collection Agency (ARCA) reached $ 13.52 billion, outpacing inflation with a real growth of nearly 11%.

Key drivers included the Income Tax revenue, fueled by higher employee and retiree contributions, and a boost in Social Security funds. VAT collections also grew, reflecting increased imports and exchange rate effects.

This robust performance underscores a resilient fiscal strategy amid economic adjustments, providing a positive signal for Argentina’s financial stability.
